Albergo Allegria is a boutique hotel in Windham, NY (~24 minutes from church ceremony and ~4 minutes from reception venue). The hotel offers beautiful, individually decorated rooms and excellent farm-to-table breakfast. Their hotel name translates to "Inn of Happiness" in Italian. To book, please email: <a href="mailto:mail@albergousa.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">mail@albergousa.com</a> with your names, stating that you'd like to stay for Annalisse &amp; Mike's wedding. From there, they will provide an online booking website.

Hotel Vienna is a charming lodge nestled in Windham, NY (~25 minutes from the church ceremony and ~5 minutes from the reception venue). The hotel offers cozy, comfortable rooms with mountain views, and guests can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast each morning. With its peaceful setting and warm hospitality, it’s a relaxing retreat for the weekend.

Wylder Windham is a cozy, charming hotel set on beautiful grounds along the Batavia Kill River. It has many rooms, great outdoor spaces, fire pits, a pool, and an on-site restaurant and bakery. It’s an easy, comfortable place to stay and close to everything in town!

Our Favorite Daytime Activities

OUTDOORS

Colgate Lake: Crystal-clear water, peaceful mountain views, and a perfect spot for swimming, picnicking, or just unwinding for a few hours. Windham Path: A 1.4mi nature trail along the Batavia Kill Stream. A beautifully nourishing walk to surround yourself with the late spring / early summer blooms. Acra Point via Black Dome Range and Escarpment Trails: Hike a gorgeous 3.5mi out-and-back trail to soak in the expansive beauty of the Catskills. Expect a moderate challenge lasting approximately 2.5 hours. Kaaterskill Falls from Laurel House Road: This 1.7-mile trail leads you to one of the region’s most iconic views. An easy-to-moderate hike that’s totally worth it.

Windham Country Club: Our favorite 18-hole course in the area! Scenic, fun, and full of quirky holes and fast greens — perfect for a casual or competitive round.

SHOP

Gardenheir: Stylish gardening gear, curated tools, and modern design pieces... even if you don’t have a green thumb! Gem Mercantile: Locally crafted gifts. Browse or grab something Catskills-inspired. JJF Farms: A gorgeous working farm with Angus cattle and rolling fields. Visit the farm store for fresh eggs, grass-fed meats, and seasonal goodies. Tannersville Town Center: Nicknamed "The Painted Village in the Sky," this lively downtown is full of charm, antique shops, and unique boutiques. Hudson, NY: About an hour's drive away, Hudson is a charming town with all types of shopping -- antiques, outdoor apparel, and one-of-a-kind treasures.

Things to Do

Speed limits are strictly enforced in Greene County... Trust us!! Please be aware of frequent speed limit changes along your route. Animals run free and the roads get dark. Please take extra precaution when driving at night.
